Jacquie "Lady J" Maddix

Lady-J-02_smaller2.jpgJacquie "Lady J" Maddix was born on August 11, 1954, in St. Paul, NM. She is a 20-year broadcasting veteran with a background in Television and Radio. A St. Paul, Minnesota native, Lady J has worked at Cities 97, KMOJ Radio, Midwest Sports Channel, WRNB Cable Radio, and WCCO Television - Channel 4 in Minnesota. She went on the air at KFAI Radio 1-4-94 and has been programming the "Full Bodied Blues" ever since. 

Lady J is a contributing writer to Minnesota Blues on Stage: www.mnblues.com and a contributing television producer to St. Paul Cable Access-SPNN.

Lady J is a performer and is active in the blues community as an emcee and host. She created the "Diamond Blue Revue" to showcase Minnesota Talent in Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul and Funk. The Revue is an open stage/ open mic night, taking place at Shaw's Bar & Grill every Monday From 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Rollin' & Tumblin' with Lady J every Tuesday on the radio from 3 - 6: pm CST. She interviews guests, spins the tunes and takes you on an "A-Train" ride from Sugar Hill to Blueberry Hill, giving you a room with a view of all facets of the blues. As the High Priestess of the blues, Lady J will definitely satisfy your soul!
